actually...
It's 6 something a.m. My eyes are barely open, but my fabulous kids are already talking. Here are some of their words from this morning:
Louie: "Daaaaaa! Daaaaa! Agero goo goo la bye-bye! Maaaaaa! Maaaaaa! Agulooloo!"
Keona: "Those dogs have been chasing our cars for YEARS! Actually, for two days."
Jonathan: "Mom, when I close my left eye and look with my right eye, everything looks normal. But when I close my right eye and look with my left eye, everything looks blue. [pause] No. I'm wrong. Everything looks aqua-marine."
I LOVE my kids!!!

After sleeping for many hours since I too have returned from the Western Montana retreat, I am finally "awaken", but not only from physical rest. Yesterday was my birthday and this morning I am celebrating it with my young children. We have been laughing and playing on the floor and telling them the exciting news about what happend to me at the retreat. The very last day, when asked to respond to a reflection. Words from my pen flowed gracefuly as follows: Father God, in response to this message I need to trust in your authority and wait for you to reflect in my soul, in that I hope with all that I am. To listen to direction and that I lead the ones I dearly love. To always feel the content and gratitude I feel in my heart in this moment. The longing and knowing of you." Today, laughing and playing with my children, I feel content and happy with Jesus by my side. Lisa
I'm ready for more blog posts. ;)
Friday my darling daughter turned "sweet 16". My husband and I took her and two of her friends to Red Robin for dinner (her request). Afterwards, the girls tied balloons to their hands and we strolled through the grocery store for some midnight snacks they wanted to consume later that evening. My heart was so blessed to hear three beautiful young ladies giggling with love and joy in each other's company, and walking with balloons through the grocery store. Another priceless moment as a parent. :)
Precious.
