Description

Experiencing The Making of a Mentor as a Group:

The DVDs and note set are both needed to study Making of a Mentor as an individual or group.

Please note that the note set was not designed to stand alone but needs to be accompanied by the DVDs.

Alicia suggests that the facilitator first watch the DVD segments before the group meeting to become familiar with the material and also to assist in the preparation of post-DVD discussion questions.

The note set is designed to assist the participant in fill-in-the-blank style as they watch the DVD.

Suggested breakdowns for the DVD segments are as follows:

  • For a nine week group experience of 20-34 minute video segments: Tracks 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, 14, and 15.
  • For a five week group experience of 45-60 minute video segments: Tracks 1-4, 5-7, 8-10, 11-13, 14-15.
  • For a four hour seminar (not including discussion time) with 3 sessions: Tracks 1-6, 7-12, 13-15.
  • For a four hour seminar (not including discussion time) with 2 sessions: Tracks 1-7, 8-15.

After the DVD segment is completed, the group would benefit from discussion questions or a time of interactive discussion and response.
